The following is a message about Citizens Bank & Trust’s commitment to COVID-19 readiness:

Citizens Bank & Trust (CB&T) has always been a community minded, family oriented Bank and we pride ourselves on putting the health and well-being of our employees, customers, and communities first. We understand COVID-19 and its impacts dominate the headlines today which is creating uncertainty worldwide and major concern right here in our local communities of Atchison & Holt Counties. CB&T wants to assure you we are committed to serving our customers and our community not only safely, but promptly. Please take a look at the following measures we are taking to be able to continue to serve our customers and our communities:

CB&T encourages our customers to use our Online Banking tools.  Online Banking will allow you to continue to conduct most of your banking needs outside the bank.

IF YOU ARE NOT CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN OUR ONLINE BANKING SERVICES, please give our Bookkeeping department a call at 660-744-5333 (Rock Port) or 660-442-3800 (Mound City) and they will take care of you.

– CB&T employees will continue be available to you Monday thru Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and on Saturday from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm.

PLEASE REMEMBER, CB&T WILL NEVER CALL YOU AND ASK FOR YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, USER NAME, PASSWORD OR PIN. Customers need to stay vigilant and be aware that cyber criminals prey on consumers during turbulent times. If you receive a call from anyone asking for your personal information, even if it does appear to be from our bank, please do NOT give it to them. Those wanting to do harm to others have the ability to spoof phone numbers.

– CB&T continues to be open in our Rock Port and Mound City locations and we are here to serve the needs of our customers and our community. Both the Rock Port and Mound City locations have drive-thru services to help minimize direct exposure to others. Both of our locations are following proper protocols for cleaning and disinfecting our banking locations thoroughly. If we feel that the need arises to temporarily close one of our banking locations, we will post this information on our website www.cbtmo.com.

– CB&T has emphasized to our associates the importance of staying home if they are sick, to stay home if they have household members who are sick, and/or stay home if they know they have been exposed to someone who has recently been experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. CB&T is also taking the extra precautions with our clients to exercise the recommended social distancing practices as put out by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

CB&T customer deposits are protected by FDIC Insurance and we continue to be a strong, well capitalized bank. We have a strong balance sheet and we have the liquidity necessary to withstand volatility in the market.

CB&T is committed to providing a safe banking environment for our customers and safe workplace for our employees. We will continue to monitor and evaluate the COVID-19 situation very closely to prevent the spread of COVID-19 throughout our communities.
